Most people have seen Disney's "The Little Mermaid" animated film. But there are many others that are absolutely excellent - the classics. Here they are:
1. My first choice for a film siren is "Splash". Not only the plot is fun and wonderful, but there is some amazing footage of Daryl Hannah mermaiding in the ocean. I can not get enough of this! Note that this is not a movie for children. It was made in the 80's, and for the most part is right that the family to see. 4. The number four of my films siren above is an old classic black and white called "Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid."
